Labeled Hyperspectral and RGB Images of Several Tree Species

A dataset of hyperspectral and RGB images of different tree species on the Virginia Tech campus. These images were captured at different lighting and exposure levels and include labeling information that will allow for classification tasks to be performed. The dataset is designed to highlight differences in classification accuracy and techniques when using traditional RGB images as opposed to hyperspectral images. Each image is stored in a .zip file separate from the required header file. For usage instructions refer to the README file within the database.
