This data repository contains the simulated soil concentrations from CMAQ model paired with observations from the IMPROVE network. Results from two CMAQ simulations, namely the TOTAL run and the FPAR run, during the entire year 2016 are included. In addition, results for six sensitivity runs with adjusted PV and NPV heights are provided. The documentation of the CMAQ version 5.3 used in this study is available at https://www.epa.gov/cmaq/cmaq-documentation, and the model source code is freely available via https://github.com/usepa/cmaq. Details about the model configuration and inputs are described in the associated paper or can be found at Appel et al. (2021).
