In this paper we investigated how social preferences of a gregarious
songbird shift during infection. Data for all analyses were taken from a behavioural
experiment in which a house finch (either infected with a pathogen or uninfected
control) was given the choice to spend more time eating or perching with a
flock. All data is provided in the file ‘Inf_Social.csv’ and analyses are provided
in the file ‘Langager_Sociality_Code.R’.
[Inf_Social.csv] – A .csv file containing data from a behavioral experiment where a house finch (either infected or an uninfected control) was given the choice to spend more time eating or perching with a flock.
[post_inf_soc.csv] – A .csv file containing data from a behavioral experiment where a house finch (either recovered from infection or an uninfected control) was given the choice to spend more time eating or perching with a flock.
[Langager_Sociality2.R] – An RStudio file containing all analyses for paper “Let’s stick together: infection enhances preferences for social settings in a songbird species.” All variables are defined within file.
