In this paper we investigated how social preferences of a gregarious songbird shift during infection. Data for all analyses were taken from a behavioural experiment in which a house finch (either infected with a pathogen or uninfected control) was given the choice to spend more time eating or perching with a flock. All data is provided in the file ‘Inf_Social.csv’ and analyses are provided in the file ‘Langager_Sociality_Code.R’.
